As part of our commitment to serve Kennington and it’s immediate surroundings, we have community project initiatives that focuses at meeting practical needs.
family grant
This is a monthly donation of £100 to an individual, family within the community that require support to meet everyday basic needs. This could be a self referral, through social services or community leaders.
return to school
Just before the start of each academic year in September, we donate new school uniforms and basic supplies to local primary schools. A family fun day is also organised at the end of summer for local residents where uniforms and school supplies are shared with anyone interested.
shop and lunch for free
This is our monthly community event open to all to come and meet new people, with free lunch and shop nearly new and second hand clothing and accessories for free. These are donations from our church members and community. 12pm – 3pm every last Saturday of every month starting from September 2021.
